Crianlarich is only a short drive (30 minutes) from Glencoe Mountain Resort, one of Scotland's leading winter resorts. The snow is at its best from mid January until mid April and our hotel is a very popular base for the Scottish skiing community. We have a close relationship with the team at the resort and provide a courtesy bus to take our guests to and from the slopes in the peak season - as far as we know this service is unique in the area. Our guests can also buy their lift passes and even pick up rental equipment at the hotel, thus avoiding any queues when they arrive for their day’s skiing or snowboarding.

Crianlarich is in the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park and is just 10 miles from the northern shores of the UK’s largest loch (lake). Loch Lomond and its environs were given National Park status in 2002 in recognition of the “outstanding and diverse landscapes, habitats and communities” in the area. The park is one of only two in the country.

Scotland is the home of whisky and Crianlarich has famous distilleries that can be visited with just a short drive. Oban Distillery is located in the centre of Oban and runs guided tours throughout the year (except January).
